These terms apply to all Channel Partners (“CP”) enrolled with Upscore Fintech Private Ltd, operating under the brand name StepUp Score.
1. Onboarding and Bank Details
The CP must complete onboarding and provide valid bank account details. Commission or payout will be released only to the bank account verified and approved by StepUp Score. Final confirmation of CP onboarding will be communicated by email from StepUp Score.
2. Customer File Submission
The CP should submit only genuine and eligible customer cases. Files where the credit report is already good or the score is already satisfactory should not be uploaded, as such cases may lead to customer refund and may not qualify for payout.
If a Customer uploads a duplicate of second file within 30 days of the 1st file upload, a reupload fee of Rs. 250+ GST applies. This fee is non-refundable and carries no commission for the Channel Partner. This service is to be processed through Backend SUS staff/Telecaller ONLY. Any re-upload within 30 days of an earlier report payment done directly by the customer will NOT be refunded.
3. Payout Eligibility
Commission payout will be processed only after all of the following are completed:
- CP onboarding is completed.
- Customer payment is received.
- Customer verification is successfully completed.
Approved payout will generally be processed within 24 to 72 hours after successful completion of these steps. Payment structures and milestone-based payouts are commonly used in partner programs.
4. Official Payment Channel
Strict Prohibition on External Payments: CPs are not authorized to receive, process, or handle any customer payments for SUS services. All payments must be made directly by the customer through the official SUS website/app.
No cash, UPI, or offline payments: CPs must not:
- Accept cash, bank transfers, or UPI payments from customers.
- Share personal WhatsApp, phone numbers, or unofficial payment links for transactions.
- Process payments on behalf of customers.
Customer Responsibility: Any payment made outside the SUS platform (e.g., to individuals, WhatsApp contacts, or unofficial links) is solely the customer’s responsibility. SUS will not recognize, validate, or process refunds for such transactions.
A. Refund Processing
Authorized Refunds: If a refund is approved, it will be processed only to the same account/payment method used for the original transaction. Refunds will not be issued to:
- CP accounts.
- Third-party accounts.
- Alternative payment methods.
CP Liability: CPs are not authorized to process refunds on behalf of customers. All refund requests must be submitted directly to SUS via:

B. CP Commission Eligibility
Commission Rules: No commission will be paid for:
- External/unofficial payments (cash, UPI, etc.).
- Transactions not processed via the SUS platform.
- Direct file uploads by customers (full fee applies, no refund).
Commission is payable only for:
- Verified SUS platform transactions.
- Transactions with proper KYC and T&C compliance.
C. CP Compliance & Monitoring
Regular Audits: SUS will monitor CP activities for:
- Unauthorized payment collection.
- Misrepresentation of SUS services.
- Negative customer feedback.
Consequences: CPs found collecting payments offline or processing refunds will face:
- Immediate suspension of CP account.
- No commission for associated transactions.
- Legal action if fraud or misrepresentation is detected.
4. Commission Intimation
Commission confirmation and payout status will be sent to the CP by email.
5. CP Responsibility
The CP must ensure that only accurate, relevant, and eligible customer cases are submitted. Any unnecessary, duplicate, misleading, or incomplete submission may result in delay, rejection, refund, or suspension of CP access.
6. Conduct and Compliance
The CP must not make false promises, misrepresent services, or commit StepUp Score to any outcome on behalf of the company. The CP must follow StepUp Score instructions, comply with applicable laws, and maintain professional conduct while dealing with customers.
7. Confidentiality
All customer information, business data, operational details, and internal documents shared with the CP must be kept confidential and used only for authorized StepUp Score activities. Confidentiality obligations are standard in channel partner agreements and typically survive termination.
8. Verification and Audit
StepUp Score may verify any customer case, upload, or payout request at its discretion. If any information is found to be false, duplicated, manipulated, or inconsistent, StepUp Score may reject the case or hold the payout.
9. Suspension and Termination
StepUp Score may suspend or terminate CP access at any time in cases of fraud, misuse, repeated complaints, unauthorized commitments, or breach of these terms. Key obligations like confidentiality and compliance remain applicable even after termination.
10. Independent Relationship
The CP acts as an independent partner and not as an employee, agent, or legal representative of StepUp Score. The CP has no authority to bind StepUp Score unless expressly authorized in writing.
11. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by the laws of India, and any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
